The story
- 01
The brief
W Design Studio practises architecture, interiors and landscape. Its old mark was a serif W. The new identity had to feel as considered as the buildings, and work as well on a facade as on a business card.
- 02
An intersection
We called the route an intersection of thoughts, ambitions and new ideas. W, D and S are set in a plain geometric sans and laid over one another like panes of tinted glass. Where two letters meet, the tone deepens: the intersection stands for integration, strength and teamwork.

Built to be cut
Only greys, black and white, so the mark reads the same in brushed steel, frosted glass or print. It went into production as a steel facade sign and a full stationery suite: black and white business cards, letterhead and envelopes.
